P.O.R.T.

P.O.R.T. is the acronym for Pittsburgh Oldtime Radio Theater. The group is comprised of a number of volunteers who act out original scripts of popular radio shows from yesteryear. They have been entertaining audiences throughout the tri-state area since 1994. Program chairpersons from various groups contact P.O.R.T. and arrange performances. The group has appeared at luncheons and dinner meetings in locations as diverse as assisted living facilities, churches, community centers, and veterans' hospitals. A nominal fee is charged for each performance and is donated to Radio Information Service. If you know of anyone who would be interested in having the P.O.R.T. group perform at their organization or club function call Paul Mooney at (412) 921-6924.
